Diabetes risk check

The goal of this diabetes risk check is to give you an idea as well as to show chances for reduction of your diabetes risk. Of course there is no change possible in the question for heridity, but you can reduce the risk by a healthy nutrition and also by doing exercise. You will reduce your body weight to a normal range and will reduce you diabetes risk. Questions 2 to 5 are responsible for this and with the following questionnaire you can test how many points you can reduce the diabetes risk.

Risk factors as overweight, lack of physical exercise, high blood pressure, smoking, disturbed values of blood fat and heredity are involded in the development of type 2 diabetes. The more risk factors are present, the higher is the probability to develop type 2 diabetes.

This Diabetes Risk Check is therefore not siutable for persons already suffered from diabetes, but all persons from their surroundings, who present risk factors or who are interested in performing this check. If there already typical signs of diabetes exist, this check is also not suitable. Such signs are strong thirst, frequent urinate, tiredness, no appetite, weariness or unfounded loss of body weight.
If you have observed these symptomes you should contact your practitioner or a diabetes specialist immediately.
